Phacops Trilobite Fossil – Devonian, Morocco
1 in stock
A beautifully prepared Phacops trilobite fossil preserved within its natural limestone matrix, displaying exceptional relief and strong natural detail throughout.
The fossil features a deep three-dimensional appearance with pronounced segmentation and highly defined compound eyes, giving the specimen excellent visual impact from every angle. The contrast between the dark trilobite and lighter surrounding matrix enhances its overall display presence while retaining a natural, authentic character.
Phacops trilobites are among the most recognisable fossil arthropods from the Devonian Period, prized for their distinctive morphology and unusually detailed eye structures. Moroccan examples are especially sought after for their quality of preservation and sculptural appearance.
