Mookaite is a variety of jasper found exclusively in Western Australia and is renowned for its remarkable range of natural colours. Formed through the silicification of ancient marine sediments, Mookaite can display hues ranging from cream and yellow through to deep reds, burgundy and purple, making it one of the world’s most distinctive ornamental stones.
This specimen has been carefully polished to reveal the intricate natural patterns and colour variations within the stone. The flowing bands of cream, soft gold and blush-red tones create an almost landscape-like appearance, while preserving the unique character and individuality of the material.
Sourced from the remote Kennedy Ranges region of Western Australia, Mookaite is highly prized both for its beauty and for its exclusivity of origin, as it occurs naturally in only a single region of the world.

Fossils and minerals are natural pieces ad should be handled with care. We recommend displaying away from direct sunlight, moisture, and high humidity to preserve condition over time.
